TOM KING

Executive Vice President

Tom King is a 2011 graduate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, earning an undergraduate degree in accounting. After undergrad, Tom completed a dual degree program, earning a Juris Doctorate and a Masters of Professional Accountancy, both from the University of Nebraska. The following week he started full time at Gene Lilly Surety Bonds as an agent. Working under Bob Cirone and Jim King, Tom developed as a surety agent while utilizing his academic training in accounting and law. Tom has worked in the construction industry, the legal industry, and the agricultural world throughout high school and college.

In his spare time, Tom greatly enjoys classic cars, running, cycling, hunting, fishing, and traveling whenever possible. He might also be found on a golf course. Tom grew up south of Waverly and enjoys shooting sporting clays and practicing archery on the family acreage with his father, Jim. 

Tom greatly values industry involvement and sees organizations like AGC, ABC, NUCA, LICA, and many other contractor groups as great avenues to provide contractors with a collective voice, training staff members, and a place for fellowship.
